Audio files can be a useful tool, but they can conflict with an assisted reading device. Take this into consideration if you are thinking about using audio.
Audio files must be in MP3 format and no larger than 2MB. To upload audio to a page, it’s a different process than uploading images and documents. Go to the exact page you want the audio on. Then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and look for the item “MP3 Audio File”. Click on “Browse” and you can then select the MP3 that you wish to upload. It may be on your desktop or in another location. Once you have selected it, you can choose to either have it be “Auto Play” or not. By selecting Auto Play, once the user goes to that page it will automatically start playing. If you don’t use Auto Play, then those with assisted reading devices will not be affected.
